Energy Committee
Energy has been universally recognized as one of the most important inputs for economic growth and human development. Ukraine is at the beginning of a profound transformation that is moving the country to centre stage in Europe. Ukraine’s energy sector will grow tremendously in the coming years. Further economic and population growth, allied to structural trends such as the geo political changes, the Green Deal and the envisioned reconstruction of Ukraine, point unmistakably to a trend of continued rapid expansion in demand for energy. In this scenario the energy committee has a vital role to facilitate The Netherlands – Ukraine collaboration across the energy sector. We believe this sector has strong potential for new growth, the knowledge exchange and investment that could contribute to the economic prosperity of both countries.
